He may have only won one championship, but he was still one of the greatest imo. Watching him and Makinen got me into watching rally when i was a kid.

Colin had a greatness that was both a curse and a gift. Always chasing the point beyond the limit.

I just love that X-games bit where he rolls and instead of thinking well that’s that he just downshifts to first mid roll and carries on like nothing happened. The physical embodiment of tenacity.

I would kind of like to see the BBC do a show on like Richard Petty or Dale Earnhardt because I think it would be really interesting and funny to watch.

Colin McRae in the 1990s is the best rally driver ever.
I disagree, he’s a very good rally driver, but I think Sébastien Loeb is the best rally driver ever (despite Marcus Grönholm being my favorite).
